First off, I would like to say that I do indeed have a social life, however it is rather limited right now due to almost all of my friends having work hours that completely clash with mine. (You...yes, you with the third shift: quit now.)
Secondly, I will draw your attention to two mechanics/abilities that appear here, as well as attempt to explain a few that have been given keywords since you last played the game. I'm reasonably sure those of you who have played know what things such as trample, first strike, and fear are.
*cough* Yes, this is all based off of Magic: The Gathering.
Alright then, the three abilities here are already in MTG, however they're given keywords for older abilities and whatnot.
Reach (This creature may block as though it had flying)
Shroud (This creature cannot be the target of spells or abilities)
Vigilance (Attacking does not cause this creature to tap)
Two that I myself created for this set however:
Transform - X (X: This creature becomes a noncreature artifact. You may pay X to end this effect)
In other words, if I had Jazz out (a 3/2 with Transform - 2), I could pay 2, and he'd become a noncreature artifact, therefore unable to be damaged/targetted by the spells that normally target creatures.
Bond - X X: Attach this to target artifact you control. This card remains in play even if bonded artifact leaves play. Artifacts that are creatures cannot bond.
Essentially, this one is like Equip, but for attaching to artifacts instead of creatures. The other difference is that Bond can be played as an instant.
So without further ado, and in the style of VGCats, MAKE WAY FOR THE F***ING ROBOTS!
